YouTube Rewind Returns: Your Year in Videos, Now Official!

YouTube, the video-sharing platform owned by Google, has announced the launch of its annual “YouTube Recap” feature. This functionality allows users to review their viewing activity throughout the year.

The rollout of YouTube Recap commences today in North America, with global availability anticipated by the end of the current week. Users will be able to access their personalized Recap directly from the YouTube homepage and within the “You” tab.

YouTube introduces its own yearly recap

The Recap feature presents a series of up to twelve cards, providing insights into individual user engagement. These cards will highlight key aspects of a user’s viewing history in 2025, including top channels, preferred interests, and the evolution of viewing patterns. Furthermore, the Recap incorporates an analysis of user preferences, categorizing viewers based on their preferred content.

For users who have engaged with music content on the platform, YouTube Recap will also feature top artists and songs. In addition, users will have the option to explore their top genres, podcast consumption, and an overview of international music listening habits within the YouTube Music application.
