HMD’s Touch 4G: Hybrid Phone Unveiled, Teasing Excitement.

HMD Global is preparing to launch a new mobile device, the HMD Touch 4G, on October 7th. The company is positioning this device as a “hybrid phone,” bridging the functionality gap between traditional feature phones and smartphones, and touting it as the first of its kind in India.

The product’s availability beyond the Indian market is currently unconfirmed. Official promotional material, including a teaser video released by HMD India, offers limited specific details regarding the device’s capabilities. However, leaked images from tipster @smashx_60 provide initial visual insights into the Touch 4G.

These leaked images reveal a device equipped with a small touchscreen display, evoking the design language of the Nokia Asha series from the previous decade. The device features a metal unibody construction, with color variations observed in cyan and gray. Additional physical features observed in the images include a power button, dual-SIM functionality, and a headphone jack, alongside a homescreen interface optimized for the touchscreen. Further specifications and features will be unveiled at the launch event.
