Huawei Launches Nova Flip S in China: Refreshed Design and Updated Specifications
Huawei has introduced the Nova Flip S, its latest clamshell foldable smartphone, exclusively in the Chinese market. This iteration builds upon the foundation of the original Nova Flip, which debuted in August of the previous year, with a focus on refined aesthetics and competitive pricing.

The Nova Flip S features an updated design, including new color options. Internal specifications have also been refined. The device is powered by an undisclosed Kirin 8 series processor, widely speculated to be the Kirin 8030, representing an upgrade from the Kirin 8000 found in the standard Nova Flip model.

Key specifications largely mirror those of its predecessor. The Nova Flip S incorporates a 2.14-inch OLED cover display and a primary 6.94-inch LTPO OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz. Powering the device is a 4,400mAh battery supporting 66W wired charging.

The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.56-inch RYYB sensor and an f/1.9 aperture, complemented by an 8MP ultrawide lens. A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfie and video call functionality. The Nova Flip S operates on HarmonyOS 5.1 and is currently available for pre-order in China.
